The DLC will remain the same, offering four remastered zombie levels from World at War: Nacht der Üntoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese. Of course the cherry on top of this DLC is the new ‘Moon’ level, offering low gravity zombie blasting mayhem.
Those who bought the Hardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops for PS3/PC will get this DLC for free just like their Xbox 360 counterparts. Gamers who didn’t shell out the extra money for the collector’s editions of this game will have to pay $14.99. The price point of this DLC should come as no surprise to Call of Duty veterans, and to figure out if this DLC is for you, then check out our review of the Xbox 360 version.
The majority of CoD fans would have already purchased this for Xbox 360 – which is one of reasons why the console usually enjoys a 30-day window of exclusivity – but now it’s PS3 and PC owners chance to get in on the action.
However, with the fall season upon us and the release of Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 fast approaching, it makes you wonder how many will get this DLC. Will PS3 and PC owners save their money and put it towards the new releases instead of picking up Rezurrection? We’ll just have to wait and see.
If you’re a PS3 or PC owner let us know if you’re planning on buying Rezurrection, or if you’re just going to put your money toward one or more of this season’s big name titles.
Call of Duty: Black Ops ‘Rezurrection’ is out now on Xbox 360 and will be available for PC and PS3 on September 22nd.
