The first DLC pack, Havoc, had a bit of a bumpy launch, with a delay that left PC players waiting for the game while console players mastered the new maps. Activision and Sledgehammer Games confirmed some details about the next DLC pack today, and like Havoc, it will also start out with a limited release.
The Ascendance DLC pack will launch on March 31 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners, but the rest of the gaming community will have to wait patiently for an extra month before exploring the new content. The PC, PS3, and PS4 launch is scheduled to take place one month after the Microsoft exclusivity begins. Once shoppers are able to purchase the content for their platform of choice, they will gain access to the following new maps, weapons, and features:

No gameplay footage has been released yet, but gamers can take a sneak peek of the new maps and weapons in the screenshots above. Brief descriptions of the new content can also be found on the official Call of Duty website.
A few of the new maps seem to be channeling the same weird factor that the Havoc DLC’s creepy clown-themed level brought to the table. Site 244 takes place at a downed alien spaceship near the base of Mt. Rushmore and Climate traps gamers in an enormous bio-dome utopia.
Not to worry for those FPS gamers who prefer to stay grounded in ‘reality,’ both Perplex and Chop Shop seem to be more traditional Call of Duty maps. Perplex takes place in an apartment complex and Chop Shop in a black market industrial complex.
Ascendance can be purchased individually for $15 or as part of the $50 season pass. There are still two more DLC packs on the way later this year; Supremacy and Reckoning.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance releases March 31 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. PC, PS3, and PS4 versions are scheduled to launch a month later.
