Karius arrived at Anfield last season and was expected to establish himself as the Reds’s No.1 but ended up losing his place to Mignolet by the end of the campaign. Belgium international Mignolet went onto help the club secure a top-four place in the league and has already made some key saves for Klopp’s side this term, including a penalty against Hoffenheim....

Selecting from the 135 applications for vanity plates that have been rejected since January 2019, the Edmonton Journal published custom names the provincial government has refused to allow on license plates, including “COVID69,” “COVID19,” “THE VID” and “RONASZN.” Typically, about 7,000 custom plate names are approved each year in Alberta. Rules for personalized plates includes a ban on offensive language, but also prohibit lookalikes, according to the Journal, with professional titles and acronyms disallowed....

[Update: BioShock will continue without Irrational Games] Last week’s announcement of the Video Game BAFTA nominees included a respectable four nominations for Irrational Games’ skybound shooter BioShock Infinite, which was included in the categories for Artistic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Original Music and Best Performer. At the time however, we speculated that the notable lack of nominations for Best Game or Best Story might have had something to do with the critical backlash that began a few months after the initial praise that followed the game’s release....

Comprised entirely of action shots, and little-to-no back-story, this trailer functions in a fashion similar to the Infinite box art — it gives the game a mass appeal — but it’s also pretty incredible. While we don’t know if this actual scenario plays out in the game, the trailer features our hero, Booker DeWitt, looking upon Elizabeth, who is mere seconds from execution....

Featuring ways in which the team of four can slide, drive, and launch themselves around the map, Shangri-La looks to be bringing a decent amount of new tricks to Black Ops’ Zombie mode, but still keeps the core gameplay in tact. It might not have enough A-list actor talent to rival Call of the Dead, but it certainly should do well enough to compete for your affections. Not only does Shangri-La sport some clever location-specific traps and escape routes, but it also gives players access to a few new weapons....
