As far as the multiplayer is concerned some, not all, of the kill streaks have been unveiled, a few of which were featured in the aforementioned trailer. Among those that are known are a few new killstreaks like the Drone Swarm (that pack of stealth planes that were hovering above in the trailer), the QR Drone (which is the quadrotor), and the Microwave Turret, along with what appear to be riffs on streaks from the first Black Ops....

Players can expect to hear the sounds of composer Clint Mansell - most recently known for Black Swan - in Mass Effect 3, but he will also be joined by many veteran Mass Effect composers, such as Christopher Lennertz, Cris Velasco, Sam Hulick (who also composed the exceptional soundtrack to Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad) and Sascha Dikiciyan. EA did not specify whether all of these composers had a hand in the score for the game’s single player, or whether some worked on multiplayer only, but either way it seems we can expect a wonderful musical accompaniment when the game launches in March....

Similar to the previous Borderlands images, the group cast picture does not reveal much since it once again only shows silhouettes of the actors dressed in their respective gear. But, it is still a first look at the core members of the Borderlands team coming together, which only goes to show that after facing several delays, the movie is finally on track, and shooting is moving ahead smoothly. Oh, and in related news, people are upset about the inclusion of a “girlfriend mode.” Titled “Come and Get Me”, the latest trailer for Borderlands 2 thrusts the spotlight onto main antagonist Handsome Jack. Much like past Borderlands baddies, Handsome Jack doesn’t quite care for vault hunters; however, this trailer suggests Jack will be a more compelling villain than the cardboard characters in the original game....

What time does Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood DLC release? Gearbox has officially announced the Bounty of Blood update will be live by 3 p.m. EDT. However, considering both Moxxi’s Heist and Guns, Love & Tentacles both went live shortly after 12 p.m. EDT on the day of release, we imagine Bounty of Blood will arrive closer to 12 p.m. EDT on June 25. At that time, the presumed 1.13 update will go live on consoles....

Publisher 2K Games has another surprise for Borderlands fans, though currently only for those fans living in China. The publisher, along with Shanda Games, an online game developer and publisher, unveiled Borderlands Online - an MMORPG set in the Borderlands universe coming to China in 2015. Turning Borderlands into an MMORPG in China is a good move for 2K Games. The game will very likely be a “free-to-play” style game, as gamers in China have a strong track record of making free-to-play games successful....

In an interview with the PlayStation Blog, Cliff Bleszinski details the new cooperative mode a little more specifically: The way Bleszinski uses the term “wave” basically confirms that this new multiplayer mode takes queues from Gears of War’s Horde mode. Where previously gamers would simply battle waves of enemies, fighting to survive, now expectation are flipped sideways and players have to instead score more and more points to continue. It’s certainly a unique and exciting idea, and perfectly fitting for Bulletstorm’s unique combat style....

So, everything’s hunky-dory at the house that Modern Warfare built, right? Not so fast. While the latest sales report from the NPD Group confirms that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare beat heavy-hitters like Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Super Smash Bros. for November’s top spot, the game sold 27% fewer copies than its predecessor, Call of Duty: Ghosts, did over the same time period. That’s a problem. Activision hoped that Advanced Warfare would actually sell better than Ghosts, and that obviously didn’t happen....

The official title was revealed by IGN through photos taken by one of their readers. The images depict pre-order cards from US retailer Target. Clearly printed in big font on each card is “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” so it’s safe to say the game is titled Black Ops 2 and not Eclipse. The cards also outed the game’s release date, which is November 13th, 2012. Keep in mind that the game will be officially unveiled on May 1st during the NBA playoffs and that’s where we should get our first look at gameplay and a teases of its story....
