Does Black Ops 2 on the Wii U offer a comparable console experience to the proven PS3 and Xbox 360, and is it worth the switch? Read on for our review. We’ve already reviewed Black Ops 2 on the other consoles (giving it a 4/5), analyzing its campaign, zombies mode and multiplayer offerings, so in this review we’re going to focus on what new features it brings to the Nintendo Wii U and how it compares to the traditional console experience for the franchise over the years of the current console generation....

It’s already obvious that Activision’s new favorite developer has a penchant for adding secret content into their games, be it a classic text game or arcade shooter. Now Dan Amrich of Activision has put together a few of the secrets he’s been able to glean about the easter egg-rich Black Ops map. Some you may have already noticed, while others may offer a significant advantage if used properly. At the start of the Harrison Ford-starring film, there is an opening scroll that tells us that Replicants have been declared illegal after they took part in a mutiny in an off-world colony, and that a special police team known as “blade runners” have been tasked with killing any they find on Earth. The scroll then tells us we are in Los Angeles in November 2019. However, the L.A. in the movie, often voted one of the best science fiction films of all time, is just a little different from the real-life city in 2019, which is sorely lacking in flying cars, oil flare booms and giant billboards featuring winking Japanese women....

Until then, however, it’s just the base game to keep the inhabitants of Yharnam occupied, though that isn’t to say change won’t come before then. Admittedly, patches and updates don’t sound nearly as dramatic as new content for Bloodborne, but maybe it’s better that way. At least, for now. Since the game’s release in March, From Software has put out a few patches that addressed various bugs, and the lengthy loading times, however, the latest patch for the game isn’t here simply to clean up any lingering problems, but also to tweak the game a bit....

But despite the CBO report’s warning that the legislation could add as much as $367 billion to the federal deficit over the next decade, the White House and congressional Democrats have said the CBO’s estimate proves that the legislation is affordable and will end up costing taxpayers little, if anything, in coming years. Now that the game is out and in the hands of the people, it’s time to move on to the post-release process that includes updating the game and the constant stream of tweaks and fine-tuning. The changes won’t radically alter the game that many have already become familiar with (that comes later), so no need to panic for fear that Sledgehammer will somehow go against players’ wishes. In fact, the developers explain that some of the changes were requested by the community itself....

Then, Sledgehammer Games revealed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and proved that their game was not a stopgap. With its near future tech and unique approach to multiplayer, Advanced Warfare looked to be the shot in the arm that COD fans have been looking for. And we are happy to report that, by and large, Advanced Warfare delivers on that front. While Advanced Warfare still retains that trademark Call of Duty identity, it also brings some new ideas to the table....

When making a trailer for a video game it is sometimes a difficult task to translate the immersive nature of said title by merely showing gameplay footage. In order to combat that disconnect, some companies work to create live-action trailers that add credence to the believability of the material. So far we have seen plenty of great trailers for Call of Duty: Black Ops but none of them has better translated that immersive nature that keeps Call of Duty at the top of the online pedestal than this newest live-action trailer....

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the upcoming sequel to Marvel’s Black Panther film, which starred the late and talented Chadwick Boseman in the titular role. The sequel will follow the events of the previous Marvel movies while existing in its own universe, so to speak.
